Now in its 40th year, ECM has much to be proud of and there is much to celebrate. Quality Montessori education is amply evident; the faculty is clearly committed to best Montessori practice, and this is readily seen in how they engage the children, as well as from the high level of challenge they require from the children. The administrative staff is devoted to the school. Parents are enthusiastic and the parent board members are clearly dedicated.

We seek to meet each child at her or his developmental level and challenge that child to discover the full range of her or his abilities. Montessori is a child-centered alternative educational method, based on theories of child development originated by Italian doctor and educator, Maria Montessori (1870-1952), whose career was dedicated to the study of children.
