PARENT TEACHER COUNCIL

PTC was organized in an effort to promote a greater sense of community at E.C. Montessori & Grade School. Providing a liaison between staff, board and families enables better communication, gets things accomplished and saves the school money!

PTC contacts families when work needs to be completed or when an event is approaching. A simple questionnaire is sent out at the beginning of the year asking for interests and skills. Someone will contact particular family members based on the needs of the school. Volunteer hours will be logged in the front office.

PTC is also actively involved in fundraising, organizing such events as "Art for Your Sweetheart" and SPRING FLING as well as community events such as the "Fall Festival".

All family members are encouraged to attend. Meetings will be held on the 2nd Thursday of every month (during the school year) at The British Pub on Cat Island.
